What 4 discussion panels will take place at the International Conference on Women's Football, which we are hosting at Aegis Law on 20.10.2023?
There will be a total of 4 discussion panels during the day, on the topics listed below:
◾ Employment Matters
The pay gap, maternity leave arrangements in football, or perhaps differences in contracts between men and women. We'll talk about all of these in the first panel whose topic is Employment Matters!
◾ Growth of Women's Team in a Club
What is the approach of sponsors and do women's sponsorship contracts differ in any way from those in men's football? And is there actually a simple guide to developing a women's team within a club? All this and more will be the subject of discussion in the second panel session on growing a women's team within a club.
◾ Commercial Value of Women's Football
The popularity of women's football has been growing in recent years, and this of course has an impact on its commercial value. How can this growing interest affect players' salaries, sponsorship deals and women's football in general?
◾ Where are we heading next?
In the last of the discussion panels, we will discuss the sporting and legal outlook for women's football in the future, review the FIFA Women's World Cup that has just taken place and follow up on the topics discussed at the FIFA Women's Football Convention.
