Jan is commended dispute management expert in the prestigious European Legal 500 ratings. Besides that, he is listed as an arbitrator by the Arbitration Court attached to the Economic Chamber of the Czech Republic and the Agricultural Chamber of the Czech Republic. Jan is also listed as an arbitrator by the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA) and a practitioner in the Vienna International Arbitral Centre (VIAC). He is also a member of the ICC Czech Republic Specialized Commission on International Arbitration and the ICC Czech Republic Working Group on Mediation. 

As a legal counsel and attorney-at-law he has participated in the resolution of disputes worth in total of billions of Czech crowns. Jan has extensive experience representing clients in legally and technically complex cases which involve foreign elements and jurisdictions including cases at Czech Supreme Court, Constitutional Court, but also international arbitrations at ICC and LCIA. 

Jan has advised a number of leading Czech and multinational companies and entrepreneurs carrying out business in the field of energy, construction, banking, transport etc. 

Apart from Czech, Jan is fluent in English.
